Pig's Eye tidbit...
In 1829, Pierre Parrant (also known as Pig's Eye because he was blind in one eye) was the first person of European descent to live in what is now the city of St. Paul. He was one of the many squatters (immigrants) located near Fort Snelling. He began selling whiskey to Indians, fellow squatters, and soldiers that lived and trained at the fort, which made him a very successful man. He is believed to have died between 1872 and 1886, but it is not known where he was buried.

Who is your all time favorite artist/band?
That will have to be The Kinks. Great music and great performances for many years. U2 and Brian Adams are close 2nds.
Who has been the most inspirational artist/band to you?
Bono from U2 and Ray Davies of the Kinks from a song writing and performing (live shows) point of view. Also, locally - The Flamin' Oh's and Sussman Lawrence.
Who has been the most influential artist/band that has helped define your musicianship?
John (Cougar) Mellencamp, the BoDEANS, and REO Speedwagon; I used to play along to their music when I was learning to play the drums. I always liked the simplicity and the flow of the music.
